Vendors are welcome at the Grapehound Wine Tour. We have kept vendor fees very low ($25 per space) because we want to emphasize fun and greyhound adoption and keep the event very moderately priced for everyone. We look for a casual and laid back atmosphere. The available 12' x 12' vendor spaces will be located indoors and outdoors at most of the Cayuga Wine Trail wineries on Saturday and Sunday, July 26-27, 2008. Vendors need to consider whether they prefer to be in an indoor location, an outdoor, roofed location such as a gazebo or a porch, or in their own E-Z-Up type tent on the lawn. We can support any of these situations. Please be aware that some of the indoor locations can be a little stuffy on a warm summer day. You may wish to bring a fan for such locations. Please let us know if you have a preference for location or to be placed with another vendor or friend. We will do our best to accommodate any special needs, such as electricity or air conditioning. While we expect the weather to be sunny and comfortable, it could be hot or it could be cool and rainy. Rest room facilities and water are available at all the vendor wineries. The average high for July 28 in that area is 80; the average low is 61. In 2006 the weather was cool and rainy. In 2007 it was 80 degrees and humid. We will monitor weather information throughout the day to warn participants if the weather should turn stormy. That time of year is normally very pleasant in the Finger Lakes region.
