Accommodations   

The Grapehound Wine Tour^® works very closely with participating hotels.  Below are hotels with whom we have an arrangement to reserve a block of rooms for greyhound owners and allow multiple greyhounds at reduced rates and waiving or reducing pet fees.

Ask for the Grapehound Wine Tour^® room block at your desired hotel.  Please call your hotel directly for your reservation, not the hotel's chain's 800 reservation line.   Only the hotel's front desk has information on the discounted, pet-fee waived rooms for our event.

As with all wine events, the hotels are located a distance from the wineries.  (Wineries are located in the country while hotels are in city or suburban centers.)  The Leesburg hotels are fairly close to most of our wineries.  North Gate Vineyard is west of Leesburg, near Purcelville, VA.  Our main host winery on Saturday, Lost Creek Winery and Vineyard, is about 9.6 miles north of Leesburg.  On Sunday we convene just south of Leesburg, a couple miles off Route 15 at a rustic barn winery called Willowcroft Vineyard.  We held a Welcome event at Willowcroft in 2010 and people loved it.

You will enjoy this beautiful part of Virginia in spring, when the countryside is coming alive with blooms.

We have some great hotels ready to host you at our event, offering discounted room rates and waiving all pet fees. Don't hesitate to make your reservation now, as the Leesburg hotels will fill up fast and the Manassas hotels have a big Civil War event going on that weekend. They all will fill up fast.
