Numerous accommodations in the area are available, from rustic cabins at Seneca Lodge to luxury hotels. However some hotels in this region close in winter and open in spring so you may need to wait until March or April to make your reservation. We always feature our Ithaca hotel partners due to their greyhound friendliness, beautiful facilities and close proximity to Wegmans, WalMart and area restaurants.

Ask for the Grapehound Wine Tour® room block at your desired hotel. Please call your hotel directly for your reservation, not the hotel’s chain’s 800 reservation line. Only the hotel’s front desk has information on the discounted, pet-fee waived rooms for our event.

Camping

There are both private and state park campgrounds in the area between Seneca Lake to the west and Cayuga Lake to the east. There are no campgrounds on the west shore of Seneca Lake. If you want a tenting site, there are lots to choose from among public and private campgrounds. If you want water, electric and sewer, you are mainly limited to the private campgrounds in the area. The state parks have a limited number of electric sites and none with water or sewer on the site itself.

If you do not book early, there may be no campsites left with hookups by May or June. Even the primitive state park sites fill up fast in summer. Call the private campgrounds at the numbers listed to book a campsite; use www.Recreation.gov to reserve a space at a state park in the area. The list below may not be complete.

Because of the cold winters, many campgrounds are basically closed for the winter or are only partially staffed for a few hours a week. Reservations in some cases at the private campgrounds may be difficult to make until spring.
